Cooking Method:

  • Knead 1 cup Jiwa Barley Flour with ⅓ cup tepid water and some salt.
  • Make a soft pliable dough, cover, and keep aside for 10-15 mins.
  • Make 4-5 balls of equal size. Roll each one out into a medium size circle.
  • Roast on a hot tawa till brown spots appear on both sides. Serve hot.

Experience

Appearance: buff beige coloured smooth flour!

Aroma: typical of the stone ground varieties, the nutty aroma is pronounced, and is well balanced with the added sweet whiffs of the organic variety.

Taste notes: strong nuttiness with the fibrous texture sits really well on the back of the mouth, and gives a satiating feeling that lingers.
